For reward, the tribe was split into two groups, the winning one going to the Survivor spa, with showers, food and everything. The tribes were Purple with Tasha, Stephen, Spencer, Joe, Ciera against Green with Wigglesworth, Jeremy, Keith, Wentworth, and Kimmy with Abi not participating. The Purple team won the reward by a heavy lead.
While they were at the spa, Jeremy managed to find ANOTHER clue to an idol. This time, it was that he’d have to get up in the middle of the night when everybody is asleep to find the idol. This was a creepy way to get it because there is no light and you don’t know what’s out there. But he got it. So Jeremy is just stocking up on the idols. The immunity challenge was a balance one in the water, and it was pouring rain, which was not helpful (and the lightening made it almost unsafe?). At the 8 minute mark, Jeff gave the contestants the option of swimming to a buoy to get an advantage in the game but give up immunity. Spencer and Stephen were the only two to go for it, with Stephen just making it there first. Then acting like he won immunity (ugh). After STRUGGLING with the last two rounds of the challenge, and really looking like he wouldn’t make, Joe, once again, took home individual immunity. The only person to win it this season. Everyone was very concerned about splitting up Ciera, Wentworth and Abbi, when they should focus on getting out Jeremy while they can (and while he’s not expecting it). Their only valid point is that Wentworth plays the game smart. Stephen’s advantage was the ability to steal a vote at tribal council. This was one of the coldest, wettest episodes to date, and it almost made you chilly just to watch it. It also made me think that the person who got voted off must feel a little relief that at least they can get out of the rain. In the end, that person was Wigglesworth, becoming the ninth person voted out and third member of the jury.
